Wet Weather Ahead

From the first NOAA 19 pass this evening we have a good view over most of New Zealand with light cloud cover at the most for all of New Zealand other than an area around Taranaki.

This is likely to result in a cooler night for most of the country, with little, if any, rain.

But watch out for the band of rain which is just in sight to the west of New Zealand which is likely to bring around late Monday evening for the South Island and spreading to the North Island on Tuesday.

There is another band behind it which was resulting rain across most of the country late this week. Hopefully this will help top off the reservoirs a bit as they need it.
