Mainly Clear, Apart From Fog

This early morning pass from NOAA 19 is showing that it is mainly clear skies across the South Island and a bit cloudier over the North. There looks to be little if any rain around and the moment and the rest of the day is likely to be clear.

There is some pretty extensive fog in Auckland which isn’t showing up on the satellite images, but us very obvious when outside. I’d expect some early morning flight disruption at Auckland Airport for non-jet flights.

The wet weather which impacted most of the North Island yesterday can be seen to be clearing off out into the Pacific.

Once again, the dream destination at the moment looks to be the Pacific Islands, but alas for now, only a dream.
