More Meteor M-2 Problems
A couple of days ago Meteor M-2 was having some issues with image downloads.
The next day the issue looked to have been corrected with this image showing a return to just the standard thick black lines ever 6 minutes and random noise.
However this morning, the very next day, the issue with repeated thick lines re-appeared.
Normally this is resolved with the satellite or at least some system(s) on the satellite being reset a pass or two later after it had passed over eastern Russian / western Europe with it then working fine for an extended period.
This is the first time that the issue has returned so rapidly.
You’ll also notice that the images are a bit more vivid than normal with the image enhancement being changed from a standard histogram equalisation to use a CLAHE processing.
